Our HIP Solution for Estate Agents and Solicitors
We provide HIPs to estate agents, solicitors, property developers and private individuals.
The ethos behind the introduction of the Home Information Pack was to speed up the home buying and selling process. For estate agents and solicitors, we recognise the need to process the HIP and in particular the EPC, quickly to support early marketing.
Therefore, upon receipt of the instruction, we initiate the HIP searches immediately. We will contact the resident promptly to arrange an appointment to undertake the energy performance assessment. Once complete, the generated certificate will be sent to you, so that the information can be incorporated into the marketing and sales literature.
We generally have the EPC completed within a day or so provided we can get access to the property. We can do this with the minimum of delay because we don't have to wait for third parties or ‘panel' the work to others – we do it ourselves.
When the HIP is ready, we will deliver it to you in your preferred medium. This will be either as a multi page pdf file on a memory stick, cd or email.
As a rule, most agents don't want paper copies of the HIP because of the problems of storage, however, if you need a hard copy we can provide it. This would incur a charge of £10.00 for printing and copying.
